Inkjet marking printer Legend Printer CP 562 IMH

First EIE has released a new CP562 series of inkjet printers with a new 512-nozzle IMH 512 printhead for text or markings on PCBs.

The process is controlled by state-of-the-art electronic technology and allows droplets of ink to be sprayed from each nozzle with very high precision. Very fast print speeds ensure low ink consumption and optimum adhesion to most types of solder masks .

Ink types:
  • DiPaMat Legend Ink with UV or thermal curing. This inkjet ink is well known and widely used for printed circuit board printing. They are available in white, yellow and black, and white ink for flexible materials will be available soon.
  • DiPaMat Legend ER ink (pickling resist) UV curable that is resistant to acid pickling in FeCl3 or CuCl2.

The resist can be removed in alkali solution without changing the PCB manufacturing process. Suitable for printing on copper and other photochemical processes.

Repeated tests have shown good clarity and contrast in print results.
